The Dr Berjano team has decades of experience in the management of spine problems: microsurgery for disc herniation, conservative treatment and infiltrations for herniated discs, surgical and rehabilitative solutions for cervical hernia, treatment of Vertebral fractures due to osteoporosis with vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty are just some examples of “classical” techniques in which the team excels.

But the activities in which the team has made itself known and appreciated internationally are modern and minimally invasive solutions for the treatment of complex problems of the spine: thoracic or dorsal disc hernias, marrow compression, treatment of vertebral deformities, scoliosis and kyphosis, series of fractures and column interventions with little success. In these difficult pathologies the team has introduced in the daily practice techniques of minimally invasive anterior column surgery (ALIF, XLIF), percutaneous osteosynthesis and innovative open techniques, with the combination of which they solve problems until a few years ago extremely difficult to treat.
